Watton – August Bank Holiday weekend is the place to be if you love bikes.
The event started back in Easter 2019 when Harvey Woodyatt, Landlord of the Kings Arms in Watton, conceived the idea of bringing the community together inΒ a motorcycle rally event which could be enjoyed by all of Watton. The first event only involved shutting Middle Street (where the Kings Arms is located), but due to the huge numbers that turned out it was run again in May 2022 after Covid lockdown restrictions were lifted.Β Harvey Woodyatt, worked closely with the Town Council to extend the event and it expanded to include the High Street, as well as Middle Street, bringing in people from all over the East of England and even further afield. By 2023 the event had grown so much it had to be partially held at the Watton Sports Centre and for 2025 it will be even bigger and better.
Saturday at the Sports Centre offers live music, food and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a chance to ride our Rodeo Bull! There’s also some inflatable fun for young visitors. On the Sunday the High Street is closed to all but motorcycles – old bikes, new bikes rare and lovingly restored classics and everything in between. Parking is free at both the Sports Centre and Town.
Help us to make Watton the most motorcycle friendly town in the country!

We’re please to say that we will be working with Watton Town Council to deliver the Town’s Celebrations!
This event is community focused and we aim for it to be accessible and affordable. We’ve made everything that we can free for everyone, including entry!
As part of the day’s events, we have:
The Town crier, a DJ, singers, children’s fancy dress, model making competitions, face painting, stalls, food and more!
Everything will be based outside, so bring a picnic and (hopefully) enjoy the Sun with us! βοΈ
