The Social Club
It’s Not Just About Sports!
It’s not only about sports here — we have an impressive range of leisure facilities too. We call these the Social Club but they are available to everyone, without requiring any kind of membership or entry fee. So, anyone can freely come along to enjoy some relaxed, quality time or recharge following a sport or gym session. It’s entirely casual! In total, there are seven TVs, a pool table, a snooker table, darts and several fruit machines to enjoy. And, of course, the main Tom Pettitt bar can be found downstairs, serving refreshing hot or cold drinks, a range of bar snacks, food and hospitality, all available 7-days-a-week.
New: The John Softley Lounge
Upstairs, we also have our newly-opened John Softley Lounge, which incorporates its own separate bar, a large, comfy seated area with views over the main football pitch, and more facilities including TVs and a snooker table. The John Softley Lounge really is a great addition to the Social Club and is a wonderful place to meet, relax, drink, or recharge.
Spaces Are Available to Hire
Although the Social Club areas are freely accessible to everyone virtually all the time, they are also available to hire for private, corporate or team meetings, formal events, celebrations, and so on. Spaces available to hire include:
- both bars and the lounge areas;
- the sports hall, which can be fitted with a lovely marquee lining for special events and celebrations;
- a separate meeting room attached to the downstairs bar. This is a lovely self-contained space that’s perfect for meetings as well as being somewhere for sport teams to wind down in after a game. Food can be supplied by arrangement.
